Our Mission Statement and Policies

"Dance & Fitness is for Everyone"

We believe that no matter what age, size, color, or abilities one possesses,

Drop-in classes:

These are group classes that you may attend without registering for multiple classes. This is a great way to try out a class, or to attend classes when your schedule changes from week to week. Some of the classes are on a 4 week progression, so some weeks may be more advanced than others. With drop-in classes you may pay per lesson (at the drop-in rate) or purchase a package of lessons at a discount.

Series classes:

Many of our group classes are run in a series format so we can build upon the material from each week. This allows you to progress in your dancing along with other students at your level. With these classes you may preregister (by purchasing the series online) or purchase the series on the first day of class. Please note that we do not offer refunds or credits for any missed classes. We do review previous material at the beginning of each class, and also offer private lessons (for an additional cost) that you may schedule to make-up any missed material. We encourage you to sign up online as soon as possible to reserve your class seat. Classes may be cancelled if less than 3 students register. Should this happen, you will be notified and your full payment will be refunded.

Partners are not required for any group classes; couples and singles are always welcome. Studies have shown that you learn to dance faster when you dance with different partners. For this reason we rotate partners during our group classes, and we encourage all dancers to participate. We do not discriminate same sex partners.

Parent Policies

Parents may not bring children with them to lessons, classes, parties, or any studio event unless that child is enrolled and receiving instruction at the time of the event. This enables parents, teachers, and other students to remain focused and enjoy the studio atmosphere. We love working with children; if you wish to introduce your child to the world of dance, we have talented and knowledgeable professionals to do the job!

Dance Party Policies

All dancers are required to pay admission to attend our dance parties unless one is on a MEMBERSHIP package. This is true whether you intend to dance or not, and regardless of the time you arrive. Our dance parities are open to those 5 years and older and all currently enrolled students.

Private Lesson Policies

Our private lessons are 50 minutes long. We promise to give you the full 50 minutes as long as we start on time or no later than 10 minutes past the hour. Please do your best to be on time. We will too.We require 24-hour notice if you must cancel a lesson or you will be charged for the lesson. Please notify us as soon as possible if you must cancel. We do understand with a serious illness or death in the family. This courtesy gives us the time to reschedule with another student.

Inappropriate Behavior

Our studio is a safe and supportive environment for our student to learn and grow as dancers. We encourage all students to be tolerant, kind, courteous, and respectful in their interactions with studio staff and one another. Sexual harassment, lewd conduct, profane language, and drunkeness will not be tolerated.

Student – Teacher Relationships

Our teachers are dance professionals and treat all students with courtesy and respect. Romantic relationships between students and teachers are not permitted. Teachers are permitted to have friendships with students; we do offer studio dance parties and special events where students may enjoy dancing with their teacher.
